Mr. Williamson

Funeral services for E. Rudy Williamson, 69, of Rt. 7, Box 536, West Monroe, were held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia with the Rev. George Womack officiating.

Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.

Mr. Williamson died Tuesday at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe after a brief illness. He was a retired carpenter, a native and former resident of Grayson and a member of the Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Cecil Pauley Williamson of West Monroe; two sons, Ernest LaVaine Williamson of Springhill and Roy H. Williamson of Monroe; one brother, Andy Williamson of Monroe; eight sisters, Mrs. Lessie Roark of Olla, Mrs. Lennie Sanders of Bastrop, Mrs. Dell Meredith of West Monroe, Mrs. Alpha Meredith of Columbia, Mrs. Bianka Parker of Vicksburg, Miss., Mrs. Meddie Mackey of Long Beach, Miss., Mrs. Opal Hindman of Oakdale and Mrs. Thelma Kimball of Annapolis, Md.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Crafton May, J. W. Hackworth, William Mann, Sherwood Smith, Arlis Jones and Terry Massey.
