RUSTON YOUTH KILLS HIMSELF AT HOME THERE

RUSTON, Nov. 21. -- Rufus Breedlove, aged 17 years, fired one shot into his head causing instant death at the home of his sister, Mrs. Boss Thompson, in this city at about 10 o'clock this morning.

The young man was an orphan, his father, Robert Breedlove of the Vernon community, a well known stockraiser, having died 15 months ago. His mother died five years ago.

The body was found at the noon hour by Mrs. Thompson, an employe of the local phone company, when she returned for dinner, the lad having been alone all the morning at home.

Near the body, which lay on the floor of the bed room, was a note addressed to his sister in which he is said to have stated that he had nothing to live for as his parents were both dead.

He was a well liked young man and had many friends. Since his father's death he had made his home with his sister.

Surviving are besides his sister Mrs. Thompson, the following sisters, all of Ruston:
Mrs. Roy Bell, Mrs. Hal Posey, Mrs. Louie Hine.

Funeral plans were incomplete this noon.
