Mrs. Rush C. Tyler
SHREVEPORT - Services for Mrs. Rush C. Tyler, 80, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 1989 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Dennis Hackler, pastor of Parkview Baptist Church. Graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 1989 at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, La.
Mrs. Tyler died Friday, July 14, 1989 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She had been a Shreveport resident for the past 31 years and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Mrs. Tyler was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Willis-Knighton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Tyler, Sr., and her son, Albert M. Tyler, Jr.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Blanche Crain Ingouf of Shreveport; two brothers, Mr. Basham M. Crain of Cumming, Georgia and Mr. James L. Crain of Shreveport and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John M. Dark, Darwin Crain, George H. Crain, Alton Brown, Roger Pemberton and Ralph Carscadden.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church.
