Russell A. Freeman

Services for Russell A. Freeman, 53, of St Rose, La, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rader Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chalk Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today.

Mr Freeman was born May 4, 1942, in Longview and died at his home after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 to 1977, including service in Vietnam.

Survivors include his daughters, Pamela Burks of Avinger, Shonda Patrick of Kenner, La., and Michelle Freeman of St. Rose, La.; sons, Allen Freeman of Longview, Anthony Freeman of New Orleans and Alton Freeman of Lafayette, La.; sisters, Emma Waits and Glenda Sue Floyd, both of Lake Cherokee, and Dorothy Seelbach of Henderson; brothers, Ernest Freeman, Judson Freeman and Albert Freeman, all of Lake Cherokee, Rayford Freeman and Billy Freeman, both of Longview, James Freeman of Ore City and Kenneth Freeman of Gladewater, step mother, Rena Freeman of Dallas; and twelve grandchildren.
