Funeral services for Bro. Russell Basker Crum, 94 of Monterey, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Bruce Runner officiating. Internment [sic Interment] will follow at Crum Family Cemetery, Monterey, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Bro. Russell Crum was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1922 in Wisner, LA. and passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Ferriday, LA at Riverland Medical Center.

Bro. Russell Crum served his Country in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. After returning home, he worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 31 years of service as Post Master. After retir[e]ment, Bro.Russell served God and Preached for the next 32 years in many Church[e]s.

He is preceded in death by

Mother- Bessie Tidwell Crum
2 Brothers- William Lamar Crum and Ernest Marion Crum
3 Sisters- Edna Enloe, Lois Williams and Melonie Dinger

He is survived by
Wife of 68 years- Mary Catherine Crum of Monterey, LA
Son- Russ Marion Crum of Monterey, LA
Daughter- Sherrie Crum Hakes and her husband Mike of Denver, CO
2 Grandsons- Ryan McDowell and Kenneth Cade Crum
4 Granddaughters- Kimberly Sterner, Leslie Leann Crum, Jennifer May Crum and Chelsea Kaitlin Crum
4 Great-Grandchildern- Kyle Alexander Sterner, Lily Catherine Sterner, Lexi Claire Sterner and Kamdyn Cayde Grantham
Sister- Jeanie Hale of Houston, TX

Pallbearers will be Donnie Enlow, Buster Ford, Jimmy Dinger, Ronnie Crum, John Russell and Harry Peyton

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men of Monterey Christian Church .
