Cottingham Rites To Be Wednesday

Funeral services for Russell Cottingham, 70, of Houston, Tex., will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lafond and Son Funeral Home in Opelousas. Burial will be in Myrtle Grove cemetery.

Cottingham died Saturday in Austin, Tex. A native of Opelousas, he was a retired marine diver.

Survivors are one son, Russell Cottingham Jr. of Beaumont, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Adams of Houston; two brothers, R. B. Cottingham of Houston and Robert Cottingham of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Laura Fahey of Beaumont; and two grandchildren.
