Born Jan. 26, 1926, age 74 and a resident of Denham Springs, she departed her home to be with her heavenly father at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, July 2, 2000. She was surrounded by her loving family, Gordon and Annette Kelly and Sharon and Herbert Cowart. Other family members and close friends who were at her side were Vickie, Tina, Stephanie, Kelli, Tiffany, Angel, Kyle, Tammy, Gary, Jeff, Kenny, Johnny, Leo, Ann, Mabien, Allen, Steven, Sheila and Dan; three brothers, Elliot, DeLee and Jewel Crum; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Caleb, Tyler, Lacy, Shawna, Oscar and Tyler Cole. Other family members unable to be with her were a sister, Bonnie Johnson, and children, Earl Crum, Donald and Yvonne Kelly and Sherry.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 10 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Frank Manguno. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge.
