Carey P. Sills

Services for Carey Payne Sills will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. Charles Gwaltney officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.

Mrs. Sills, 69, of Alexandria died at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 1994, in Regency House Nursing Home.

She was a native of Pineville and a member of First Baptist Church of Pineville, where she was a member of Truth Seekers Sunday school class.

Survivors include one son, Lt. Col. Norris E. Sills Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Susan S. Darden of Grand Junction, Colo., and Virginia S. Gwaltney of Baton Rouge; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
