RUTH GRISHAM POST
EDINBURG -- Ruth Grisham Post, 92, died Friday night at Edinburg General Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Winnfield, La., she had lived in Edinburg since 1934. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edinburg.
She is survived by three sons, Murle K. Post of Ediburg, Roy G. Post of Tucson, Ariz., and Jack Post of Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Bobby (Joyce) Hibbetts of Edinburg; a brother, Harold Grisham of Hondo, Texas; three sisters, Violet Moorehead of Bay City, Thelma Bridges of Hondo, and Marjorie Savage of Bay City; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert K. Post, who died in 1965.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Carrizo Springs, Texas, with Rev. Larry Lacy officiating.
