MRS. RUTH SPRADLEY DIES
Mrs. Ruth McDonald Spradley, about 50, died Monday night following a long illness in Jackson. The body will be brought to Lang Undertaking Company in Gulfport today. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of members of the family.
Born in Pass Christian, Mrs. Spradley taught in public schools and was engaged in civic and WPA work. She was a member of the Catholic church.
Surviving Mrs. Spradley are her parents, Judge and Mrs. R. W. McDonald, 130 West Beach, Pass Christian; sisters, Mrs. A. G. Pattenotte, Paduckah, Ky.; Mrs. Alma McDonald, Pass Christian; Miss Mae McDonald, Pass Christian; brothers, Robers C. McDonald, New Orleans; Elliot D. McDonald, Pass Christian; Walter J. McDonald, Pass Christian; and Edward B. McDonald, Pass Christian; two daughters, Mrs. Elwood Abbley, Pass Christian, and Mrs. Earl Sellier, DeLisle; and three grandchildren.
