WALKER, Mrs. Clyde F.

DEQUINCY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Clyde F. (Ruth Miller) Walker, 94, will be at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 17, in Snider Funeral Home. The Rev. Karen Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m.

Mrs. Walker died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, in the DeQuincy hospital.

She was a native of DeRidder and had lived in DeQuincy since the early 1920s. She was a member of DeQuincy United Methodist Church. She attended Drawn Business College of Shreveport and was a clerk for Missouri Pacific Railroad.

She was co-owner of the Service Drugstore of DeQuincy for a number of years.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Velma Bredehoeft of DeQuincy.

Memorials may be made to DeQuincy United Methodist Church or to the charity of one's choice, the family said.
