Mrs. Ruth Tyler Forrest
BOSSIER CITY - Services will be conducted at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Chapel, Hwy. 80 East Bossier City/Haughton for Ruth T. Forrest, age 71 of Bossier City, LA on Monday, August 8, 1994 at 1 p.m.
Officiating will be Rev. Lloyd Stilley of Waller Baptist Church where Mrs. Forrest was a member. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
She entered into rest on Saturday, August 6, 1994 at Bossier Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Forrest was born in Pleasant Hill, LA. and lived in Bossier City for most of her life. She was a member of The Eunice Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. Forrest, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James T. Tyler, Two sisters, Zoe McCain and Bernice Coats and five brothers, James, L.C., and Dan Tyler and Carl and L.J. Butler.
She is survived by two sisters, Jan McDonald and Lorraine Sellars. Five brothers, Homer, Paul, Douglas, Alton, and Mark Tyler. Also survived by many loving sister and brother in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Tyler, James Tyler, Kenneth Butler, Bill (Bo) Coats, Caleb Guidry, and Buddy Forrest.
Visitation will be at the Hill Crest Funeral Home on Monday from 9 a.m. to service time.
The family would like to thank Drs. Jordan and Powers and the nurses and staff at Bossier Medical Center for their loving care. The family would also like to thank The Eunice Sunday School Class and The Waller Baptist Church for their loving devotion.
