LT. S. A. DONALDSON DIES WHILE SERVING WITH ARMY IN INDIA

Lieut. S. A. Donaldson, 25-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Jones, 212 East 68th street, died Sept. 24 in India where he was serving with an ordnance group, his family was advised Saturday by the War department.

Lieutenant Donaldson, one of three sons in the service, was sent to India last December. He formerly attended Louisiana State university where he was a leader in several campus organizations. He received basic training at the ordnance school, Aberdeen, Md.

Donaldson was a graduate of Byrd high school. He had been in ill health for several years, the family said. The other two sons in service are Sgt. Hardy L. Donaldson and Cpl. Wilford Donaldson.
