Services Held For Mrs. Scott of Dayton

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Dillenback Scott, 78, of Dayton, were held Thursday May 11, in Sterling Funeral Chapel, Dayton, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Bill Webb and Rev. John Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Linney Cemetery, Dayton, under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were J.W. Robinson, Jr., Tommy Waring, M.W. Ford, Jr., Camel Justice, Lane Spraker and Johnny Wright, Honorary pallbearers were Dr. E.R. Richter and John Fulton.

A native of Opelousas, La., Mrs. Scott had resided in Dayton for 60 years. She worked in the Dayton School Cafeteria for 16 years and formerly worked at Bulay's. She was a charter member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Fannie Crosby Class.

Survivors include her daughters, Ida Mae Stevens of Dayton and Agnes Remkes of Crosby; a daughter-in-law, Lillian Dillenback of Lafayette, La., one brother, Arthur Smith of Liberty; one sister, Mrs. Flora Mae Brandon of Silsbee; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
