Mrs. Sallie Collins

JONESVILLE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Collins, 85, of Jonesville were at 10 a.m. today in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near here with th Rev. Claudie Jenkins and the Rev. Lester Johnson officiating.

Burial was in Heard Cemetery at Manifest under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mrs. Collins died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, William Yancey Allen and Delbert Allen, both of Jonesville; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Boyd, Mrs. Barbara Wiggins and Mrs. Otha Coleman, all of Jonesville; two brothers, Walter Coleman of Jonesville and Clarence Coleman of Ferriday; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Davis of Jena; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
