Sam Durham

Funeral services for Sam Durham, 65, of Coffeeville, were at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.

Visitation was Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at National Funeral Home.

Mr. Durham died Dec. 3, 2012, at his home.

Sam was born on Dec. 24, 1946, and was the son of Edgar Franklin Durham and Dovie Yarbrough Durham of Holcomb.

He was employed by Heatcraft as a plumber. Sam was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Dovie Durham and by two sisters, Sue D. Williams and Willa Dean White.

Mr. Durham is survived by three daughters, Melissa Vaughn of Duck Hill, Samantha Graves of Houlka and Trisha Dunn of Duck Hill; two sons, Scott McNabb of Grenada and Shawn McNabb of Duck Hill; five sisters, Shirley Ledford of Grandbury, Texas, Margie Mason of Charleston, Miss., Edna Lee of Grenada, Barbara Pickle of Grenada, and Joy Durham of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Jim Franklin Durham of Jackson, Miss., and Billy W. Durham of Bruce; eight grandchildren, Lillie Graves, Hunter Graves, Stephen McNabb, Krista McNabb, Felisha McNabb, Cameron Dunn, Robbie Dunn, and Jacob McNabb; and two great-grandchildren.

National Funeral Home was in charge.
