Sam Henry (“S.H.”) Waller

Sam Henry “S.H.” Waller, 89, of Liberty, MS. Went home to his Saviour on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He passed away at Liberty Community Living Center, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. S.H. was a WW ll veteran. He worked in Amite County until his retirement at age 85.

He was born November 18, 1923 , the son of the late Henry and Sheddie Waller.

He is survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 27 great-nieces and nephews, and a host of great-great nieces and nephews.

Mr. S.H. was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Smiley Waller and Delos Waller. His sisters: Dollie Day, Lottie Dunaway, and Lovie Scott. 4 nephews: Lenox Day, Earl Waller, Paul Day, and Robert (Bob) Scott. 1 niece Dorothy Miller, and 1 Great-niece Sherry Butler.

Visiting at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church near Gloster, Wednesday, June 12, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Visiting continues there Thursday, June 13, 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10:00 A.M., also from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Services conducted by Rev. Zach Smith.

Pallbearers are Hiram Dunaway, Shannon Dunaway, Jason Dunaway, Brody Dunaway, Drew McNichols, and Thomas Chapman Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Clavis Etheridge and Grady Jones
