SAMUEL W. SAVELL

PHILADELPHIA -- Funeral services for Samuel William Savell, 68, will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Old Mt. Zion Methodist church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Savell died Saturday afternoon after working in the field. He was born and reared in Leake County and had been making his home in the new County Line community of Neshoba County for the past 32 years.

Survivors are his wife, Clyda Mae Rushing Savell of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Lovern, Vicksburg, and Mrs. Dollie Mae Robinson, Philadelphia; one brother, Morgan Savell, Carthage; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Wilcher and Mrs. Polly Jo Ann Mosely, Philadelphia, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Ellis and Mrs. Allie Ruth Jenkins, Walnut Grove; one son, Willie Albin Savell of Philadelphia; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
