SAMUEL JACKSON SAVELL

CRYSTAL SPRINGS -- Funeral services for Samuel Jackson Savell, 74, of Terry will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from Terry Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Terry Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers. Baldwin Funeral Home is in charge. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Savell died early Friday morning at Hardy Wilson Hospital in Hazlehurst after a short illness. A native of Neshoba County, he had lived in Terry a number of years. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Hobbs, Hahnville, La., and Mrs. Garrett Whitehead, Terry; three sons, Herman Savell, Terry, Odie Savell, Depoe Bay, Oregon, and Cecil Savell of Honolulu, Hawaii; one sister, Mrs. A. E. Edwards, Lexington; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
