S. L. Richardson Buried At Oakley Cemetery

Gilbert, LA -- Funeral services for Samuel L. Richardson, 47, of Jena, who died at a hospital in Shreveport last Monday was held at the Oakley cemetery at Gilbert on Tuesday, May 18th. Rev. I. W. Flowers pastor of the Methodist church and Rev. R. L. Cook, pastor of the Baptist church, both at Gilbert officiated.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons. He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. L. B. Kiper of Gilbert; Mrs. J. B. Farley of Wisner; Mrs. Paul D. Yates of Rocky Mount, N. C.; Mrs. Bertha McLeod of Gem, Alberta, Canada and by two brothers, W. W. Richardson of Shreveport and Daniel W. Richardson of New Orleans.
