S. B. Sherwood

Funeral rites for Samuel Bryant Sherwood [illegible] Wednesday in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. F[illegible] Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe.

Mr. Sherwood died early Monday in St. Francis Hospital after [suffering?] a heart attack.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ada Sherwood; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Eugene Wagley of Monroe, Mrs. James H. Davis of Gulfport, Miss. and Mrs. Walter M. Wright of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, S. George Beaty of New Orleans; a sister, Mrs. Meddie Chapman of Jackson, Miss., and seven grandchildren.
