Father of Four Here Dies at 81

Samuel T. Sudduth, 81, father of four Port Arthur residents and brother of a fifth, died Thursday in Reeves, La., after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held in Mr. Sudduth's home at Reeves Saturday at 11 a.m.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. C. G. Parker of Bridge City, Mrs. Ed Kent of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. H. L. Elam of Reeves; four sons, Archie, H. D., C. L., and S. T. (Jack) Sudduth, all of Port Arthur; a sister, Mrs. Tobe Longnion of Elton, La.; two brothers, Luther J. Sudduth of Port Arthur and Able J. Sudduth of Kinder, La.; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
