Sandra Kendall

Sandra Gay Kendall, 56, of DeQuincy, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in Shreveport.

Her funeral was held Friday, June 8, at the First United Pentecostal Church in DeQuincy. Rev. T. D. Cardwell, Rev. Michael McConahay, Rev. Wayne Cardwell, and Rev. James Whitehead officiated. A graveside service was held at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Winnsboro.

Mrs. Kendall was born and raised in the Winnsboro/Tallulah area. She was a lifetime member of the First United Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Frank E. Kendall of Pleasant Hill, formerly of DeQuincy; two stepsons, David Kendall and Derek Kendall, both of of Minden; one daughter, Tiffany Jones Smith of Farmerville; one stepdaughter, Dana Kendall Ramirez of Blanchard; her mother, Annie Maurice Whittington of Tallulah, two brothers, David Larry Whittington of Vidalia and Dwayne Whittington of Rayville; four sisters, Patricia White of Natchez, Miss., Barbara Wilkins, Phyllis Cardin, and Lori Deckelman, all of Tallulah; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
