Funeral services for Sannie Sue Brothers Harper, 83, of Crowville were held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, in Crowville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Cage M. McLemore and the Rev. W. W. Bevill officiating.

Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

A native of Ruston, she was a retired Madison Parish school teacher and housewife. She was a member of Crowville Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She was born August 13, 1899 and died on April 4, 1983, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, R. D. Harper, Crowville; one daughter, Sue Higdon, Denver, Colo; and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Brothers, Ruston.
