Natchitoches, June 16. -- Mrs. Anne Peters, 58 years old, widow of J. M. Peters, died at midnight Sunday. She was formerly a resident of Dodson, but has lived in Natchitoches for the last 10 years.

The following children survive: Mrs. J. B. Beaird, of Shreveport; Mrs. D. W. Gibson, of Harrisonburg; Mrs. Randolph Broussard, of Alexandria; O. M. Peters, of Quitman, and Lawson Peters, of Natchitoches.

Mrs. Peters was a gold star mother. Her son, Gordon Peters, who went to France with the A. E. F., was killed in battle in 1917 [sic 1918]. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. T. M. Lemly, of Natchitoches, and the Rev. E. Winequip, of Campti, officiating.
