MISS SALLIE THORNTON

JONESBORO (Special) -- Miss Sallie Thornton, 79, died Friday at her home near Sikes after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church, with the Rev. B. Beouf officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Josie Rollen [sic Rolen] and Miss Kate Thornton, both of Sikes; and two brothers, W. D. Thornton and Robert Thornton, also of Sikes.
