SAUCIER --- Sarah Bonnie Mallett, 89, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Mallett was a native and lifelong resident of Saucier. She was a homemaker and a member of Ramsey Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Mallett; a son; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Florian Johnson; and two sisters, Thelma Mallett and Inita Calcote.
Survivors include five sons, Sidney Mallett and Bruce Mallett, both of Saucier, Milburn Mallett of Long Beach, Eldon Mallett of Poplarville and Roddy Mallett of Magnolia; four daughters, Barbara Rozier of Lucedale, Shirley Avonnoglia of Biloxi, Carolyn Seymour of Saucier and Linda Scara of Ocean Springs; three sisters, Gladys Flurry of Perkinston, Hattie Merul Davis of Sumrall and Alberta Bush of Pensacola; two half-brothers, Chesley Johnson and Roger Johnson; two half-sisters, Odell Malley and Phyllis Malley, both of Gulfport; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49 North, Gulfport. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Creek Baptist Church where friends may call one hour before services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
