Sarah Dodd Barefoot

Mrs. Sarah Dodd Barefoot, 97, of Four Oaks, died Saturday, September 3, 2005. Funeral, 4 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2005, at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Rev. Joey Yow will officiate. Burial, Juniper Church Cemetery.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Wilbur Massengill of Smithfield; son-in-law, Dr. Leonard Woodall of Smithfield; grandsons, Larry Bagwell, Jr., Wil Massengill and wife Kary, James Massengill; great-grandson, Hunter Stout; stepgrandsons, Len Woodall, Jr., Michael Woodall; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Green Barefoot; daughter, Barbara Woodall; and granddaughter, Leah Stout.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, from 3 to 4 p.m. on Monday, September 5 one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorial may be made to Juniper Church Cemeter Fund c/o John Dodd, 538 Dodd-McLamb Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524. Arrangements by West and Dunn Funeral Home, Benson.
