MRS. J. W. EMMONS

PLEASANT HILL, Feb. 28 (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. J. W. Emmons, 85, who died Tuesday at her home were held at 3 p.m. yesterday at the Wallace Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Salley and the Rev. J. A. Latimer officiating.

Burial was in the Wallace cemetery under direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

Mrs. Emmons is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Florien Bulkin [sic Floran Bufkin] of Mansfield, Mrs. A. L. Butler of Houma, Mrs. L. G. Thomas Sr. of Sulphur, and Mrs. Hugh Gregory of Pelican; two sons, Jim Emmons of Pleansant [sic Pleasant] Hill and Osean [sic Oscar] Emmons of Baton Rouge, and 38 grandchildren.
