Mrs. W. R. James Dies; Rites at Mt. Zion

Mrs. Sarah J. James, 65, of Montgomery, died Friday, February 25, 1977 in Natchitoches.

Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jerry Hext officiating. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. James was the widow of W. R. James.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. L. C. Curry and Mrs. Clayton Calhoun, both of Baker, Mrs. Edward Bramlet of Monroe, and Mrs. Jerry Davidson of Montgomery; one brother, W. L. Jordan of Vista, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Jenkins of Winnfield; eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
