Funeral services for Sarah Rosilea Sharbono, 60, of Rayville, LA were held 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Eastside Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Reverend Willie Wimbs officiating. Interment followed at Lone Cherry Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Sarah was born July 5, 1949 in Rayville, LA and passed away Monday, January 18, 2010 in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Sharbono was a member and Treasurer of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a past Committee Chair Person for Rayville Relay for Life. Sarah retired from Richland Parish School Board after working 27 years at Richland State Bank in Rayville. She taught Sunday School for many years.
Sarah was precede[d] in death by her parents, Thomas and Lady Lee and her brother, Simmie Earl Lee.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Sam Sharbono of Rayville, LA; children, Amy Dixon and husband, Todd of Delhi, LA, Jason Sharbono and wife, Shandalyn of Rayville, LA, and Justin Sharbono of Salem, AR; siblings, Sammy Ray Lee, Sr. and wife, Annette of Baskin, LA, Penney Searcy Earl and husband, Eddie of Baskin, LA, and Paul "Boo" Kevin Lee, Sr. and wife, Monna of Eros, LA; grandchildren, Alicia Dixon, Trent Dixon, Trevor Dixon, Leslie Ann Sharbono, and Zachary Sharbono; nieces and nephews, Sammy Lee, Jr., Sunny Searcy, John Thomas, Paul Kevin Lee, Jr., Ryan Earl, Anna Earl, and Derek Earl; great nieces, Olivia Lee, Christian Lee, and Carolyn Lee; great-great niece, Chloe Garcia.
Pallbearers were members of the R.F. McGuire Masonic Lodge in Rayville, Joe Comeaux, Wilson Cook, Adren Alderman, Jonathan Dean, Bendel Clack, and Ken Sanders.
