Mrs. Sara Veatrice Reeves
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sara Veatrice Reeves, age 76, of Tullahoma were conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, at the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating. Burial followed in the Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Mrs. Reeves died Tuesday morning at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Reeves was born in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Carl and Sara Elizabeth Gipson Tyree. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Hickerson Station Church of Christ.
Her survivors are: her husband, Amos Duncan Reeves of Tullahoma; three sons, Doyle Douglas Reeves of Tullahoma, Wesley Lee Reeves of Tullahoma, Terry Cordell Reeves of Andalusia, Alabama; two daughters, Rebecca Ann Fiske of Manchester and April Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida; one brother, Douglas Tyree of Lewisburg, and nine grandchildren.
