Scarlett C. Wilkinson

Scarlett Carolyn ``Polly'' Wilkinson, 62, of Liberty, died Sept. 7, 2000, at her residence.

Visitation is 5-9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty. Visitation continues from 9 a.m. Saturday at Liberty Baptist Church, until services there at 11 a.m. Dr. Martin Hayden, Bro. James Sadler and Elder Jerry Britt will officiate. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born Dec. 1, 1937, in Amite County. She was the daughter of the late Clayton Whittington and Rosa Foreman Whittington.

She was a social worker with the Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jackson, La. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Malcolm L. Wilkinson of Liberty; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Julie Wilkinson of Gloster; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela W. and William McGraw of Woodville; three grandchildren, Brandon Jewell Kirkland, Ashley Caroline McGraw and William Tanner McGraw; two brothers, Garland Whittington of Liberty and W.L. Whittington of Brandon; two sisters, Pat W. Smith of Tallulah, La., and Becky W. Galbreath of Alexandria,La.; and two special friends, Francis Jones and Louise Draughn.
