SCOTT THOMAS PRINCE

Scott Thomas Prince, 35, of Lansing, Michigan, died on Friday, August 10, following a lengthy illness. Memorial services were conducted in Martin Luther Chapel at Michigan State University in Lansing on Monday, August 13, with the Rev. Christopher Prince officiating.

A native of Carthage, he was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Kenneth Carl Prince and Doris Wubbena Prince. He was a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana and the Institute of Sacred Music of Yale University. He had served as minister of Music at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lansing; as organist-choirmaster at Martin Luther Chapel at Michigan State University; and was currently employed at Willingham and Cote Law Firm of Lansing. He was a member of the American Guild of Organists and of the Association of Anglican Musicians.

He is survived by one brother, Rev. Christopher Prince of Hempstead; two sisters, Becky Bunyard of Carthage and Leslie Copeland of Shreveport, La.; two nieces and a nephew.
