Mrs. S. Emmons

Funeral services for Mrs. Seawillon [sic Sea Willow] Emmons, 66, of West Monroe, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Revs. V. L. Prewitt, Jullian [sic Julian] Braden and H. L. Driskell officiating. Burial was to be in Hasley Cemetery.

Mrs. Emmons died Monday at Glenwood Hospital following a long illness.

A native of Pleasant Hill, she had resided in West Monroe for 11 years. She was a member of the Claiborne Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Deloris Gewin of West Monroe and Mrs. Nell Zoeller of Fullerton, Calif.; two brothers, Julian C. Cobb of Glenmore and F. P. Cobb Jr. of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Jackson of West Monroe and Mrs. Helen Salter of Eunice; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Irvin Bryan, Claude Sullivan, Shelby Allford, R. B. Nash, James Holtzclaw, John McDowell, Jack Noland and Cavin McQueen.

The family requests that any planned memorials be in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Seawillow Emmons

Mrs. Seawillow Emmons, 66, died in a West Monroe Hospital, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Apr. 13, in the Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. Emmons lived in West Monroe, but was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a former resident of Florien.
