Seth Horne Dies at 49; Rites Today

Funeral services for Seth C. Horne, 49, 2702 Lindholm, who died unexpectedly Monday, en route to a local hospital in an ambulance, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rose-Neath Chapel.

The Rev. W. D. Milton, pastor of Cedar Grove Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Forest Park West Cemetery.

A native of Greenwood, Miss., Mr. Horne had lived in Shreveport for the past 18 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

He was a groceryman and was employed by Winterton Foods.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Jack Horne of Baton Rouge, and Danny Horne of Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Wilson of Shreveport; a brother, Otis Horne and one sister, Mrs. Hoye McDonald, both of Jonesboro, and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be H. L. McKibben, W. H. Haynes, Theo Massey, George Dolin, Kenneth Davis and F. E. Smith.
