Mrs. Sharon Rose Chance
Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Chance of Florien, were held
Saturday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m., at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with
Bro. Glen Flenniken, and Bro. Elsie Walker officiating. Burial
was in Prewitt Chapel Cemetery., Services were under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chance died Thursday, Nov. 29, 1984, at 5 p.m., at
Provencal, La., as a result of an automobile accident. She was 40
years old.
Survivors include her husband, Larry E. Chance of Florien; two
sons, Tony Chance of Plainview, and Timothy Chance of Florien;
one daughter, Allison Chance of Florien; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. J. C. Slaughter of Florien; two brothers, Larry O. Slaughter
of Shreveport, and C. M. Slaughter of Florien; four sisters,
Gloria Camp of Ft. Worth, Judy Jones of Hornbeck, Linda Cord of
Pryor, Okla., and Rachel Cuveas of Sacramento, Calif.
