Died Friday, Sept. 21, 1984, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 67, a resident of Jackson, and a native of Amite County, Miss.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., 8 a.m. Saturday to religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Alton Rollinson. Burial in Whittington Memorial Cemetery, Gloster.

Survived by wife, Donnis H. Whittington, Jackson; father, Everett S. Whittington, Centreville, Miss.; three daughters, Alma Blackshear, Norwood, Bernice Roberts and Judy Idlett, both of Jackson; a son, Everett Whittington, Baker; two step-daughters, Pauline Cousins, New Orleans, and Mary Causey, Baker, a stepson, Robert Brown, Wakefield; four sisters, Sadie Wilkinson, Liberty, Miss., Etta Rollinson, Centreville, Mary Rollinson and Faye Dunnaway, both of McComb, Miss.; three brothers, Sam Whittington, Pearlington, Miss., Leonard Whittington, Jackson, Miss., and Marvin Whittington, Independence; and eight grandchildren.
