Sherman Walter Barrett

Funeral services for Sherman Walter Barrett of Brandon were held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel.

Barrett, 56, automobile salesman and member of Sanford Baptist Church, died May 3 at Rankin General Hospital in Brandon.

Officiating minister was the Rev. Danny Fuqua and burial was in Sharon Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Rosemary Barrett of Brandon; six daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Shiyou of Braxton, Mrs. Evelyn Daley of Mendenhall, Mrs. Deborah Sullivan of Magee, Mrs. Cindy Barrett Kees of Charleston, S. C., Miss Angela Barrett and Miss Mary Barrett, both of Montgomery, Al.;

And two sons, Sherman W. Barrett II of Pasadena, Ca., Dale Barrett of Montgomery, Al.; one brother, Mitchell Barrett of Oak Grove, La.; five grandchildren.
