Shirley Ann Parker, 68, of Stringer, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Fair Ridge Baptist Church in Jasper County, with burial in Fair Ridge Cemetery. The Revs. Randy Sullivan, David McNeil and Buddy Jennings will officiate.
She was a homemaker and a member of Fair Ridge Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edd and Gladys Sims.
She is survived by her husband, Spurgeon Ray Parker of Stringer; a son, Stacy Parker of Stringer; a daughter and son-in-law, Christi and Jamie Stringer of Stringer; grandchildren, Jake Parker and Jackson Parker, both of the Hebron community, Thomas Ray Parker of Bay Springs, and Parker Leanne Stringer and Cole Stringer, both of Stringer; a great-grandson, Logan Parker of Bay Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles E. Sims and Catherine Sims of Stringer; and two sisters, Peggy Procell and Pam Lampkin, both of Stringer.
Pallbearers will be Neil Moss, Karl Parker, Chad Parker, Bruce Parker, Thomas Brewer and Dustin Moss.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
