James, Shirley Ray Williamson

Shirley Rae Williamson James, 77, of Loranger died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at her home. She was born Sunday, Jan. 6, 1929. She was a retired cafeteria employee for Loranger schools.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gwenon Russell James and Janet James of Loranger; two grandsons, Lenny Ray James and Rusty James, both of Loranger; great-grandson, Damen Young of Loranger; great-granddaughter, Raelin Mae James of Loranger; and three sisters, Cwilla Williamson James of Loranger, Alta Williamson Flynn of Hammond and Hazel Williamson Savage of Mariposa, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell James; a son, Leonard ``Lenny'' Ray James; and parents, Oscar Williamson and Etta Joiner Williamson.

Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., officiated by Michael Williamson and Steve Elston. Interment in the Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery, Loranger.
