Sidney Lawrence “Larry” Emmons

SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service for Mr. Sidney Lawrence Emmons will be held in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home on Monday, May 26, 2003 at 2 p.m. Officiating the service will be his dear friend, Calvin Beaner. The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 1 - 2 p.m.

Mr. Emmons passed away on May 24, 2003 after a brief illness. He was born on February 20, 1948 in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Emmons served our country in the Army National Guard.

Larry had a general love for the outdoors and his sod farm was the culmination of his dreams. His father, Glyn Emmons, preceded him in death.

Surviving him is his wife, Catherine Emmons; sons: Jay and Jonathan Emmons; mother: Ethel Lou Emmons and husband, Billy and one sister, Glynda Aycock.
