EMMONS JR., SPENCER R. -- ``JACK''
Died 10:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 1989, at his residence in Plaquemine. He was 63, and a native of Fayetteville, Ark. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korean conflict.
Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. Tuesday until religious services at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge.
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Lynn) Connor, Denham Springs, and Mrs. Darryl (Katherine) Steele, Vidor, Texas; two sons, Spencer Ray Emmons III, Gonzales, and Gary Paul Emmons, Virgin Island; an aunt, Louise Gordon Morgan, New Orleans; and five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife, Jean Pouch Emmons; and parents, Spencer Ray Sr. and Effie Lee McAdams Emmons.
