Stafford Rogers

MANY -- Stafford Rogers, 70, died Tuesday at home after a short illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Beulah Baptist Church. The Revs. Kenneth Leach and Hoy Leach will officiate. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery with Warren Meadows, Funeral Home in charge.

Survivings are his widow; five sons, Stafford Rogers Jr., Bobby Ray Rogers, Bernes Lee Rogers and Otha Douglas Rogers, all of Many and Billy Wayne Rogers, Florien; two daughters, Mrs. Syble Pantalion, Fisher, and Mrs. Sue Lynn Fife, Many; four brothers, Wiley Rogers, Florien, Robert Rogers and Carson Rogers, both of Many, and Herman Rogers, New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. Maudie Warden, New Orleans, Mrs. Bertie Powell, Slagle, and Mrs. Mavis Byrd, California; 27 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
