CRUM, MRS. STELLA STEELE

Died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 77, a resident of Slaughter and a native of McComb, Miss.

Body at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Elder Melvin Myers. Burial in Roselawn Memrorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Crum.

She is survived by two stepdaughters, Miss Eloise Crum and Miss Nell Bowman, both of San Francisco, Calif.; three stepsons, Floyd Crum, Beaumont, Tex., Robert Bowman, San Francisco, and Charles Bowman, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Smith, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Ethel McBunch, Slaughter; two brothers, C. E. Steele and Galey Steele, Smithdale, Miss.; 10 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Billy Joe Smith, James McBunch, C. L. Steele, Clem Steele, Kenneth Steele and DeLea Steele.

She was a member of Kentwood Baptist Church.
