COLUMBIA -- Special -- Steve Manley, 73, of Columbia died in a Monroe hospital yesterday afternoon following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were incomplete but the funeral will be under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia. Services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jerry Greene officiating, assisted by the Rev. Kenneth Luken.

Interment will follow in the Columbia Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Isabelle Manley, of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. Jewel Ledbetter, Columbia, four sons, Wilbur, Lester and Lesley, all of Columbia, and Robert of Eureka, California; and one sister, Mrs. Norsis Kirkland, Kelly; and 11 grand-children and three great-grand-children.

COLUMBIA (Special) -- Services for Steve Manley, 73, of Columbia, will be held at 9:30 this morning from Riser and Son Funeral chapel conducted by the Revs. Jerry Greene and Kenneth Lukens.

The deceased expired Friday in a Monroe hospital after a long illness. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery by Riser and Son.
