The Rev. Stephen Wayne Coon
KERRVILLE -- Rev. Stephen Wayne Coon, age 45, of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, in a local hospital.
He was born Feb. 17, 1961, in Orange, Texas, to Donald Jerry Coon and Helen Alene (Rolen) Coon. On May 8, 1981, he married Sandra Lynne Hammer in Port Arthur, Texas.
The Rev. Coon was the minister of Kerrville Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Coon of Kerrville; parents, the Rev. Donald and Helen Coon of Lynnwood, Wash.; sons, Dallas Coon and Dustin Coon and his wife, Jacie, all of Kerrville; sisters, Danita Hurst and husband, Mike, of Everett, Wash.; brothers, Michael Coon and wife, Debbie, of Edmonds, Wash., and the Rev. Jonathan Coon and wife, Tammy, of Lynnwood, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at Kerrville Apostolic Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at the Kerrville Apostolic Church, officiated by the Rev. Ted Wade. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Coon, Joel Coon, Jason Coon, Jerron Hurst, Rob Edmunson and Danny Massey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at the Kerrville Apostolic Church, P.O. Box 291864, Kerrville, Texas 78029.
