Steve Allen Williams

Steve Allen Williams, 57, died peacefully in his sleep at 9:30pm on Friday, April 15, 2016 after a long illness.
He was a beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Steve was a lifelong resident of the Jackson, MS area and was a carpet layer by trade. He enjoyed old TV shows and loved animals.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Benny Thornton; nieces and nephews, Tammy and Gary Roberts, Deborah and Mike James, Tony and Ashley (Jones) Thornton, David and Elizabeth Thornton, Benjamin Thornton (Rhiannon), Kenneth Williams, Sherry Williams, Chris and Jamie Williams, Kimberly and Chris Hill; several great and great grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Levoy and Mattie Lou Williams; bother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Judy Williams; and ex-wife, Jeanna Marie McCormack Williams Jimenez.
Services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Harmony Baptist Church in Crystal Springs with burial at Harmony Cemetery. Chris Williams will officiate.
