VOLENTINE, STEVEN LEO
A loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a resident of Eunice, he went to be with our Lord on Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, in Zachary. He was born Jan. 2, 1909, in Grayson and was a longtime member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Alice Ann Pocorello and Jeanette Young; two sons-in-law, Raymond Young and Howard Sigler; 13 grandchildren, Farrell, Ronnie, Lonnie and Pete Pocorello, Tammy Lieux, Allen, Roger, Charles, Mark and Jennifer Sigler, Marlene Fries, Jeff Young and Tommy Lynn Hart; 31 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews, including A.J. Douglas.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Marlene Sigler; and a son-in-law, Joseph F. Pocorello Sr. Visitation at Ardoin's Funeral Home, Eunice, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Visitation at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Richard, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Thursday.
