Stevie Hardy Butts

Stevie Hardy Butts, 86 years of age, of Jonesville, LA passed away peacefully on November 06, 2013. Stevie was born July 16, 1927 in Jonesville, LA. A graveside service will be held Friday November 8th at 10:00 am at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, LA with Rev. Jack Knapp officiating. Stevie Butts was the most beautiful, religious, loving and kind-hearted mother and grand-mother. She will be remembered as one of the greatest cooks in Catahoula Parish.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years William L. Butts, parents Lillie Ford Hardy and Steve Hardy, sisters Lula Dunn and Ida Masters, brothers Claude Hardy, Norman Hardy, Oliver “Billy” Hardy and Tommy Hardy and grandson Brandon Mann.

She is survived by a sister Eula May Elliott, a brother Orval J, “Bobby” Harris, sons Harold V. Butts, Daniel Butts and wife Jane, Andrew Butts and wife Renee, daughter Norma Hudnall and husband Mehl, daughter Nelda Mann, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Ethan Butts, Jason Butts, Jeremiah Adams, Canaan White, Dustin White and Slater Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Otwell, Mehl Hudnall, Sr. and Mehl Hudnall, Jr.
